CHAIRMAN OF CITS RETIRES

Mike Revell stepped down as chairman of CITS on 28th January 2014, after a long association with CITS spanning more than 20 years, the last twelve of which he was Chairman. He has agreed to become Honorary President of CITS for one year.

Mike retires from The Clancy Group at the end of March 2014 and we wish him a long and healthy retirement.

New CITS Chairman and Vice Chairman

Ian Elliott, Security Manager for The Clancy Group and formerly of the Metropolitan Police succeeds Mike as Chairman. Ian has been a Board member since 2007 and has spoken at several CITS Conferences. He was very actively involved with PANIU (Plant & Agricultural National Intelligence Unit) until his retirement from the police in 2013, when he took up his present position at the Clancy Group.

Vice Chairman

Kevin Howells, Director Datatag ID and managing director of CESAR (Construction Equipment Security and Registration) was voted vice chairman of CITS. Kevin has had a long association with CITS and has been a Board member since 2007, the year that the CESAR scheme was launched.
